Chef Patrick Whitfield
A Life of Cooking
A native of Blytheville, Arkansas, Chef Patrick Whitfield’s passion for cooking began at an early age. As a child he spent many days in the kitchen with his grandmother, Ella B. Whitfield, who inspired his love for cooking low country meals.
Chef Patrick attended The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he majored in Mathematics. He later moved to Blytheville to marry his high school sweetheart, Patricia Whitfield. Together they formed The Covenant Catering Service and have been providing extraordinary food to the DFW Metroplex for 12 years.
Bursting with flavor… is the phrase used to describe Chef Patrick’s food. He is blessed to be Dallas’ Premier Chef leading a professional team of experienced cooks skilled in creativity and excellent customer service. Chef Patrick has had the opportunity to cook for several celebrities and works as a Private Chef to well-known public figures.
As an Entrepreneur, Chef Patrick has developed a line of barbecue sauces and spices which he receives raving reviews. He and his wife are currently preparing the products for placement in grocery stores.
A heart for youth, Chef Patrick enjoys participating with Career Day at Triple A Academy in Pleasant Grove Texas every school year. Educating and training the youth
Beyond possessing so many gifts, Chef Patrick holds a deep commitment to giving back in the community. Chef Patrick donates catering service and his time to non-profit organizations on a yearly basis to support their efforts in assisting the less fortunate in the DFW Metroplex.
Chef Patrick’s Holiday Feeding Program is an annual event to feed the homeless. He gathers his friends and partnering churches to meet in downtown Dallas to provide hot meals and donated clothing to the homeless.
Chef Patrick currently works at The Star for the Cowboys Association.
